Try a variation: Build your query, then choose Edit in new tab. Use Duplicate before trying another direction. Each tab keeps its own builder and Classic Editor. Tabs autosave in this browser; Save adds a named search to your Library.
Use Tools → Platform operators to insert a field in the Builder, and All platforms beside Launch for every destination. In the Classic Editor, highlight a Boolean before Copy or One-Click Launch to use only that selection. The scope label shows what will be used. Selection → new tab separates a string from a longer draft. Focus editor gives you more space.
Tab options → Reopen closed tab restores recently closed tabs (up to 20). Classic Editor supports Ctrl/Cmd + Z to undo and Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + Z to redo. Ctrl/Cmd + S saves the active search.
1. Terms on separate lines are joined with OR.
2. A blank line between blocks creates AND.
3. A faint bracket connects neighboring alternatives. Select lines and press Tab to indent a branch. The Generated pane shows its parentheses. For exact control over a complex expression, choose Edit in new tab and edit the parentheses directly.
4. Type NOT or - on a blank line to exclude the terms grouped below it.
5. Use platform operators for title, company, skills, X-ray searches, and other advanced fields.
6. Highlight builder text and choose Tools → AI synonyms.
7. Use Tools → Navigator AI to enhance a search or begin from a job description.
8. Save names a search the first time. After edits, Save keeps the previous version beneath that search. Open a version in a new tab to reuse it. Choose Save as a new search for a separate copy. Star a reusable search to find it under Favorites.
9. Tab indents selected rows. Shift + Tab outdents them.
10. Export a JSON backup regularly. It includes saved searches, folders, favorites, the library sort order, versions, open variation tabs, and recently closed tabs.
